Element Flash Cards program:. This pdf f ile contains a series of pages that will produce business card sized cards with the name of an element on one side and its symmbol  and atomic number on the other.  The file can be printed on pre- perforated business cards available at local office stores or on card stock and then cut using a paper cutter. Odd pages have the elements names and the even numbered pages, the atomic number and symbol and so must be printed duplex-wise. If you cut your own cards,  first cut 1/2 inch off the top and bottom and 3/4 inch off the sides of each page, then cut the pages into strips 2.inches high to get strips 2 by 7 inches. Finally, cut each each strip in half to get the card size to come out even at 2 by 3.5 inches. It's easier than it sounds

Did you ever need a table listing the elements, their symbols and atomic numbers.? (Of course doesn't everone?  (And by Murphy's Law,  when you need one,  you usually can't find one). Here's a chance to get --not one, but two tables. One is in htm format, so you can use it on the web and the other is a downloadable pdf file.

Element Word Search Puzzles.
Seven WSP's are available for download as pdf files. Answer pages are also avalable.
P1 and P1a cover the first 17 elements of the Periodic table, P2 and P2a, the next seventeen, etc, through puzzle p5 and P5a. Puzzles P6 and P7 with their answer split the last 25 elements for a total of 110 elements.

Medicine Recovery Brochure
There is some evidence that drug disposal via the environment may be causing unwanted and
unnecessary water quality problems. The Section has developed an  informational brochure with regard to this potential problem. A trifold two page copy can be downloaded here. Printing and folding it correctly is worthy of an A+ in origami.
